| After making a selection, go to Select - Refine Edge to clean up the edges of your selection. This is how you can pick up messy or fly-away hair as part of your mask. |

| When you open Camera Raw the first thing you should adjust is the Lens Correction. |

| The second thing you should do when you first open Camera Raw is tick 'Remove Chromatic Aberration'. |

| After that you can then go ahead and adjust the Temperature, Exposure, Highlights and Shadows etc. |

| Create a Layer Mask using the selection tools and Refine Edge. Then apply that to a new Hue/Saturation layer, invert the selection, and adjust the saturation. |

| The background is now less saturated to make it contrast more with the foreground. |
